When you join the waitlist, adopt a pup, or otherwise use Zoojee, we collect:
Zoojee uses the following third-party tools to understand how the site is used and to measure the effectiveness of our marketing:
These tools may use cookies or similar technologies and may receive your IP address and device information. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of Zoojee may not work as intended if you disable them.
Some Zoojee features let you upload photographs so we can generate content featuring you and your pup together. Uploading a photograph is always optional. You never have to upload one to use Zoojee.
When you upload a photograph of yourself, we collect and store that photograph. A photograph of a person's face may contain biometric identifiers and biometric information, including a scan of facial geometry, as those terms are used under laws such as the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA) and the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act (CUBI).
Solely to generate the Zoojee content you have asked us to create — for example, an image of you together with your pup — and to make that content available back to you.
We collect, store, and process this information only after you have consented, by choosing to upload a photograph. Photo features are available only to users 18 years of age or older. You may withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your photographs (see below).
To generate your content, your photographs are transmitted to and processed by third-party AI providers (see Section 5). We disclose your photographs to these providers only for the purpose of generating your content. We do not otherwise disclose them, except where required by law or by a valid warrant or subpoena.
We retain your uploaded photographs and any biometric information they contain only for as long as needed to provide the service to you, so that you can reuse them for future creations without uploading again.
We will permanently destroy that information at the earliest of:
You may delete your photographs at any time in your settings, or request permanent deletion by emailing hello@zoojee.ai. We will delete them within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain information by law.
Upload photographs of yourself only. Do not upload photographs of other people, and never of a minor. Where a feature accepts a photograph of your surroundings, please ensure no other person is identifiable in it. Photographs you upload of your surroundings are never shown publicly on Zoojee.
Your pup's images, videos, music, and diary entries are created using third-party AI service providers, including Google (Gemini), Kling AI, Suno, and Anthropic. Data necessary to generate this content — such as your pup's name, and any photographs you have uploaded — may be sent to these providers. That processing is also subject to those providers' own terms and privacy practices.
If you share your pup's video to a platform like TikTok or Instagram, we use a service called Blotato to publish it.
Adopting a pup from an available litter is free. Some parts of Zoojee cost money — for example, creating a custom pup, or purchasing credits.
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number. Stripe collects your payment details directly and processes them under its own privacy policy. We receive a record of the transaction — the email address used, what was purchased, the amount, and when — which we use to fulfil your order, provide support, and meet our tax and accounting obligations.
We share information with the service providers who help us run Zoojee: our hosting and database provider (Supabase), our email provider (Resend), our payment processor (Stripe), the AI providers listed in Section 5, and the analytics and advertising providers listed in Section 2.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell or profit from your biometric information.
We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Zoojee, our users, or others.
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, and for a reasonable period after, to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.
Photographs and biometric information are subject to the specific retention and destruction schedule in Section 4, which controls in the event of any conflict with this section.
